Volunteering
Become a volunteer at Tiom Laura Marinka Home
Give the children in our home in Kathmandu the attention and love they need so badly. An experience that will stay with you forever.

About our home
Tiom Laura Marinka Home is a warm and safe home for children who have lived on the streets. Children who faced poverty, violence and neglect — but who now grow up in one big family, go to school and get to simply be children again.
Alongside our permanent Nepalese team, we can always use volunteers who want to share in this care.

Who is it for?
Everyone with a love for children is welcome — young or old, experienced or not. We especially welcome:
Young people & students
Between studies, or simply looking for a meaningful adventure? This is the way to broaden your horizon.
Sabbatical takers
Need a break from the daily grind? A period in Nepal gives you new energy and a different perspective on life.
Retirees
With a life full of experience and time to give, you are of invaluable worth to the children and the staff.
Everyone in between
Together with your partner, a friend or on your own — whoever you are, there is a place for you in our home.
What will you do?
Care
Helping the little ones brush their teeth, wash their hands and get ready for school.
School & homework
Walking children to and from school and helping the older ones with their homework.

Giving attention and love — that is often already more than enough.
